Nurses on Boards
Have a voice in the Boardroom
Our goal is to improve the health of communities and the nation through the service of nurses on boards and other bodies.
As part of its leadership work with the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action, the Louisiana Action Coalition (LAC) is working in collaboration with the Louisiana State Nurses Association (LSNA) to ensure nurses have a voice in the boardroom. LSNA has assumed primary responsibility for this initiative in Louisiana. Both LAC and LSNA are aligned with the national nurses on boards coalition, a group made up of 20 national organizations and representatives from every state in the United States. The national database is maintained by the coalition. The nurses in boards coalition website also houses a number of resources including webinars, links, articles and blogs
